Nils & Bianca
Bianca Locatelli and Nils Andrén are Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie dancers, choreographers, instructors and performers with a passion for driving the art form forward and have devoted the last decade to teaching, performing, and choreographing. Their true passion lies in Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie, two vibrant dance styles that have deep roots in African American culture.
They have won numerous competitions worldwide, holding titles at ILHC, Camp Hollywood, and the European Swing Dance Championships. We are so happy to have them here for the first time!
Skye & Frida
This year we welcome once again, the great Skye & Frida, stalwarts of the Uptown Swingout experience. These two have been teaching and competing together for decades, winning countless titles along the way and influencing countless dancers with their seemingly effortless energy, connection, and style.
These two are always looking to push the dance while never disconnecting from the heart of what makes Lindy Hop so special. Come enjoy one of the very rare chances to learn from them in the USA at the Uptown Swingout this year!

Remy & Alice
Internationally renowned dancers, Alice Mei and Remy Kouakou Kouame were both already known and recognized before forming this duo. Together, we discover them more musical, precise and stylish than ever! Alice’s quick footwork combined with Remy’s legendary relaxation creates an overflowing but controlled energy, which always comes and goes at the right moment. A crazy creativity, always at the service of the music and the show.
We are so excited to be welcoming Remy & Alice back this year as they are some of Lindy Hop's very finest competitors AND teachers.
Peter & Naomi
Peter Strom and Naomi Uyama are world-renowned Lindy Hop dancers and instructors. They have dedicated over 25 years to the Lindy Hop and vernacular jazz dances, winning champion titles at the International Lindy Hop Championships and the US Open Swing Dance Championships. Naomi also leads the band "Naomi & Her Handsome Devils", our house band for the weekend!
Together, Peter and Naomi are known for their strong partnership, dedication to teaching, and passion for Lindy Hop as a living dance with a rich history. They are also your co-event directors for the weekend and they are so happy to share their vision with you!

Dee Daniels Locke
Dee started Swing Dancing at the age of four with her Dad in the basement, wearing her Mom’s heels and her favorite plaid skirt. Dee loves feeling free on the dance floor and she advocates for self-expression and individual creativity as the spirit of solo jazz and Lindy Hop.
Dee has taught, performed, and choreographed nationally and internationally and we are so happy to be able to have her at her hometown event where she will be teaching Solo Jazz all weekend!

Blake & Sylvia
Partnering the great Sylvia Sykes this year is Blake Theissen, an amazingly smooth and connected dancer whose Lindy Hop and Balboa are equally amazing. Sylvia and Blake will be teaching a special Balboa add-on class on Friday as well as some Lindy Hop over the weekend. With proud roots learning to dance in Southern California, Blake is deeply inspired by historic dancers Dean Collins, Maxie Dorf, Hal Takier, John Mills, Lennie Smith, and more and Sylvia was lucky enough to learn directly from and dance with many of those very masters. More on Sylvia on our Legends page.
